Closeouts. GoLite’s Paradigm jacket is made using Trinity 3-layer polyester with DWR and sealed seams that render it waterproof, breathable, soft and quiet. It has the reliability of a storm shell and the versatility of a soft shell for comfort in nearly any weather. Adjustable, articulated hood with reinforced visor, hidden cord lock and hood volume adjuster.

    I bought the jacket for my brother for christmas. It looks good, but in my opinion it is no real soft shell material. But I think, he will like it also, because it is a very light jacket, perhaps using it for hiking, biking, jogging in moderate conditions. The hood is fixed on the jacket, if you like this, the jacket is nearly perfect!

    Very well made jacket, but It seems more suited for walking than running. The cut is very boxy and would not work well for riding or running. I do think it would be a very good jacket for slower pace activities, though.

    Good construction with taped seams and pit zips (which the catalog didn't mention). Its a light weight jacket best suited to aerobic activities like hiking, XC-skiing or snowshoeing. I would have liked a little longer length down the back but overall the fit is good.
