GoLite Phantom Gore-Tex® PacLite® Jacket - Waterproof (For Women)

Luved my paclite rain pants, this jacked was bought to complete the set, I hike and paddle in steamy Qld, Australia where high breathability in torential downpours is a must. Luv the pocket/pit zip combo and lack of bulk around waist and hip when shleping the thrupak. Foldaway hood is a bit lumpy, the peak could handle some stiffening. My first Go-lite product...initial use looks very promising.

Fit my girlfriend perfectly! She's 5'7" 125lbs and ordered Medium.

Well designed and of high quality

This is a nice little jacket. I have been using it for cycling in wet weather for a couple of weeks, and it has held up nicely. It's very waterproof, and the underarm and pocket vents keep you from getting too hot and building up condensation. The fabric, like most hardshells, isn't very breathable, so the core venting is nice. It packs up pretty small when I get off my bike, so I imagine it will be a nice hiking/ backpacking jacket as well. The fit is great- waist shaping, nice arm length (I'm tall so this is important) and hip contouring mean it fits women well and looks nice. The hood does not fit over my bike helmet, which is fine for me, but some people prefer a bigger hood. The bright pink color is great for visibility on my bike too. I do wish it had more pockets, especially an interior one, but for the price it's a great jacket.

Awesome design. For serious wet weather. Underarm vents make this a jacket a must have!
