    I use this for a rain jacket, I keep one in my car and one in the house. You will need a vest underneath to stay warm. This jacket is used for all seasons. I carry it with me always when I'm hiking or bike riding, very light and packable, good wind resistance.

    This was a Valentines Day gift for my girlfriend. She really liked the fit, color, and versatility of this jacket. But she hasn't actually used it as yet because, frankly, it's not exactly "winter weight". I'm sure it will be a perfect raincoat/ windbreaker, come Spring.....

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I don't like this jacket. Part of that is my fault. I am solidly a size small, but I bought this in a medium. But I can wear it with tons of layers underneath and there is still huge amounts of room. There are no hand pockets, only the napoleon ones. The hood doesn't adjust and won't turn with you. It'll keep you dry, but I'd still look elsewhere.
