GoLite Quest Backpack - Internal Frame (For Women)

Golite is the best for lightweight, durable, great design! I live where we usually have to carry water so every ounce I can cut from total weight is a plus. The Quest is comfortable and well-designed. I only wish they would incorporate some sort of mesh so the contact with the back is not so direct.

This pack is so lightweight, it instantly reduced my overall pack weight. I had it packed to 35 lbs. total last weekend and that was a little too much for it, pulled on the shoulders more. When I keep the total weight under 30 it's like having just a daypack on, hardly noticeable. The shoulder straps are not adjustable at the top, they are narrow and so is the hip belt, but after wearing it on two weekend trips I think that the narrowness is more comfortable than my old bulky, heavily padded straps and hip belt. Love the little zipped pockets on the hipbelt and am actually quite happy with just one main compartment and one outside pocket. No more looking through every pocket to find some small object. I intend to use this pack on a one week long (60 mile) trip this summer. I'm really trying to keep my packweight down for more comfort while hiking and this pack is helping me do that.

I bought this pack for my sister and she loves it and I am quite jealous. When it first arrived the box was tiny and I thought they must have put in the wrong pack, and additionally the pack looked tiny, but after opening out all of the compaktor system and compression straps it blew up to a large bag. Although she has only tested it a couple of times it is super light weight, has a really nice framed backing and heaps of little extra pockets hidden away to put things. I will definately consider a golite for my next pack based on the quality of this one.

Just got the pack and it looks great. It is also very comfortable. Can't wait to use it.
