I tried at home to measure it out before I actually bought it to get an idea of what the size would be like. I think I need to review how to use a measuring tape. It's bigger than I expected. The bowl attaches to the base with a screw/bolt and the two pieces fit ok together. The handles also screw in with bolts. The screen is the concern so far. Of note I haven't actually placed anything inside of it yet to burn. The top of the screen is supposed to have a hole you screw the top handle into. Mine didn't. I called the company and was told to just stick something through the opening that was there to widen it. They said they would log that I was asked to do it and I did it. It doesn't sit flush with the top but at a slight angle. The bowl seems pretty well circular but the screen is slightly oblong and opposite ends are either fitting well to the sides or flaring out a little. As the screen is mostly on the bowl I think it should protect from sparks leaving. This shouldn't be on wood or anything flammable anyway (mine will be on pavers) so even is someone falls down the screen things should be ok. I did not contact the company about the screen but now that I'm writing this, I think I will for confirmation that this is ok.

Nice design but fish smaller than expected. Might have to put counter weight in fishes mouth to counterbaancet tail heaviness so fish responds to lighter winds.
