No, I would not recommend this to a friend

“I have a large (size 12 wide) foot but otherwise unusual. My leg size is average. This sock was of average thickness. It had a large enough foot but the elastic band at the top was so tight as to totally cut off circulation, and as such was unacceptable for me. The inside finish was poor.”
