    pairs with the same bar code and looks had either 70% merino or 43%. the catalogue read 70% because of this discrepancy. i returned all ten pairs.

    I'm a woman who loves wool socks and often finds the women's sizes unavailable. These socks have nicely knit toe and heel seams. No problems with scratchiness. The leg section is quite snug, which initially worried me, but I was surprised to find that they were very comfortable and didn't leave any "squeeze" marks on my legs. Men would be very happy with how they stay up.

    The product description on the web site said the socks were 58% merino, 35% nylon. When I received the socks, the package indicated that the OUTER layer was 58/35. The INNER layer was 100% acrilan.I buy wool socks so that wool is next to my skin...I was not happy. But if this doesn't bother you, the socks are comfy and well made and a good purchase.

    I recently tried the Goodhew Cambridge dress socks and I was very impressed. Finally, a pair of stylish dress socks with the comfort and fit of high-end athletic socks. Being natural wool, they are warm in Feb-Mar and I suspect they will be cool in the summer months. I plan to order more, if still available.
