These socks are warm and fantastic for chilly morning chores, and also look great peaking out the top of a pair of boots. I love them for work and for going out. Definitely my pick for cute cozy wool socks.

It's a very snug fit, so there's effort donning & doffing, but I haven't found them to be uncomfortably tight. I can't stand socks that are too tight at the top and these are fine. They stay up well, even when hiking. They are a little thicker than the striped Goodhew socks I purchased, but not heavy like hiking socks, so they work with most of my casual shoes. I've worn and washed these every week this winter and they are holding up well, with some very minor pilling. Very warm, and keep your feet feeling dry.

So I got another pair, in a different color. The colored band on top is a cute lumberjack-throwback look peeking out of the top of boots, and the material is warm and soft. Like a hug for your feet.
