Watch out smart wool! Comfortable lighter weight merino wool sock. Nice arch "band".

Reviewed by Alexanna from Michigan on Wednesday, August 13, 2014Love these socks. They fit well, have a rich sheen to them and are comfortable. Thin enough to wear to work with loafers and other casual dress shoes. Could not ask for more. Ordering some for presents for my family members who need good everyday work/uniform socks.
Reviewed by tenderfoot from Colorado on Sunday, April 28, 2013I bought a pair of these socks last year and was extremely happy with them: comfortable and very stretchy, enough to stay up well without being too tight at the top (a common problem for me), and they don't pill like other wool blend socks I have so they look nice. They are fairly lightweight and/ thinner than most wool blend socks, making them perfect for 4-season wear. I like them so much that when I saw them offered again I ordered several more pairs in the same size (M/L). Unfortunately I noticed the new ones slid down on my feet through the day so the heel ended up where my arch is, so I finally checked the label on a pair I hadn't worn yet. I was disappointed to see that STP's label indicated they were "M/L" size but the original Goodhew label indicated they were "S/M" size. Frustrating since all that are offered now are "S/M", and I'm stuck with socks that are definitely too small (I wear a women's size 10 shoe, far from a 7.5!) IF you can get the right size, you'll be happy with these socks. STP usually does a great job, but I have had multiple problems with recent orders (mislabeled/ wrong sizes sent, items missing from an order while I was charged for them, and once the entirely wrong item was sent. Hopefully these issues will be quickly addressed...
