    These are not too thick, like a normal every day casual sock, but way warmer than cotton. I normally use cotton socks for every day wear and my feet get cold in the cooler weather. I wore these with some basic nubuck type sneakers all day walking around NYC in the 30s and my feet were never cold. They also look good, with a dress sock design, unlike a lot of other merino socks that have more sporty or outdoor styling.

    I wear these every day to work. They are comfortable, keeping my feet warm in cold weather while not being too warm in warmer temps. I wear them on weekends too as they are more comfortable than most other socks.

    I purchased these socks to use with newly purchased Asolo hiking boots. When I first put the new boots on with cotton socks, the left boot immediately felt like it was going to wear a blister above my heel. I changed to these socks and have not had any problems. They are very soft and comfortable and a great value for the price. I haven't had them long enough to judge how well they will wear.
