    I've worn Merino Wool in both Iraq and Afghanistan -- these socks are the best! Hold up well, don't stink, retain shape after washing. These ones in particular are a thinner, "everyday wear" (as opposed to their boot socks). I have recommended these to anyone that will listen!

    A warm wool sock with a snug fit. No shrinkage after one machine washing and line drying. Because of merino wool content I would not recommend machine drying to avoid shrinkage. Even though I purchased large - extra large, the fit appears snug.
