“These are a nice alternative to short white athletic socks or tall crew and dress socks. They're just tall enough so you can see them over most shoes -- what would be the point of being different if nobody knew? If you've got an occasion and wardrobe where the usual sock just doesn't quite seem right, give these a try. Breathable enough and cushioned enough for strenuous activity and places a dress sock would never go, snazzy enough to spiff up a plain old sneaker. Might be a little too out of the ordinary for some offices, opera performances, houses of worship, etc., but fun everywhere else.”
