“I'm a woman who bought these to wear with trousers at the office. The stripe is much more dramatic on the leg than it looks in the picture. Also, the sock is not solid black: there's a brownish color in the yarn between the ribs. It's a really nice looking sock, though. Sock comes all the way up to the top of my calf/shin. Very comfortable with no itch.”
