I got these gloves just in time for the first snowstorm. I used them to shovel and they kept my hands warm. They are bulky though, so it was hard to use my fingers for anything other than holding a shovel (e.g., I couldn't keep them on and get my keys out of my pocket). But, the most important thing is that they are warm and perfect for snow.

I don't consider my hands very large, but the medium were too small. Luckily they are light weight and won't cost much to ship back. Very nice color and the large fit well. Nice cuffs keep wrists warm too.
