The liner system on these makes them really hard to get on and off, the whole cuff is really bulky and just generally unwieldy. Additionally, the thumb of the liner isnt cut right, it's too big for the shell and bunches up. They are pretty warm though, should be more than adequate for most people. I have extremely cold hands and made it 2 hours in 15 degree skiing before i needed to go in and warm up. I'll be keeping these as a backup but still looking for a good full time pair.

I love these mittens. They really are warm and they don't have the fingers inside which always defeat the purpose of warmth for me. Fit is right on.

These arrived just as our (for NY) last cold spell left...but we have another one coming in three days with temps in the teens. Have not tried them out for warmth yet, but plan two winter hikes in a few days here and that will tell the tale! They fit perfectly and I can wear a pair of silk liners underneath. Cannot imagine how they could be any better!!!! I am not a skier but am a hiker and spend a lot of time outdoors.

Got these for my granddaughter who has cold hands. They keep her hands warm and dry. Other mittens often get very wet. Well sized also.

These mittens are an excellent buy. Your hands will never get cold in these. Super soft liner and waterproof outer shell allow you to be out in the elements all day long.

Nicely constructed and seem very warm. I'm glad I listened to reviewers suggestions and ordered a large. They just fit around my wrist and hand. The inner mitten is filled with down and the outer shell has a layer of fleece so they are more bulky than aid hoped

I was looking for something to keep my hands warm on those nights where the wind chill takes it down to -20*. Looks like these should do it. I have been wearing them a bit already in 20* weather and you only want one half (shell or liner) for that temp range. Both halves are warm and cozy on their own, and very warm together.
HOWEVER- if you measure your hands and use the size chart you will want to go one size up from whatever it recommends. The width may be accurate but the length will be too short. I originally ordered the Women's Large, then exchanged it for a Men's Medium and now they fit great. I was a little worried that the Men's would be too wide, but they are fine. Not a lot of dexterity, but no worse then expected for big warm mittens. One other correction: The description made me think that the zipper on them was a vent, but it is actually a pocket. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
