“comfy but not very warm”

“Very comfy, but not very practical as a thermal base layer. The fabric is very soft and thin, which makes it comfy, but not all that warm. The fit is styled more like lounging pants than thermal underwear. The calfs are tight and fitted, which would work well under boots without bunching up. The thighs however, are very loose and baggy which don't seem to be suited for keeping warmth and heat close against your body. Although I will not use these as a baselayer as planned when I orderd them, I have already started wearing them around the house and am very happy with them for that usage. They are thin, compact and take up no space in luggage so I plan to stick them in my suitcase for travel too.”
