Closeouts. Distinctly American with worldly overtones, Gordon Rush's Cambridge leather boot is flawlessly crafted with double-eyelet lacing and a low-profile rubber outsole providing discreet yet secure traction.

I wear these with suits for work, and also with jeans to go out. The desert boot design make them seem casual, but they look plenty dressy with a suit. Desert boot design with only two or 3 rows of laces makes them come a bit loose during the day, so need to tighten the laces during the day, which doesn't bother me. Outside of box says "made in Italy", but boots say they're made in China. Seem well made though, but no removable foot bed.

I use these shoes for work. Whilst they may not look as suave as a proper dress work shoe, they hit the middle ground between the formality required for work and the toughness required for the daily commute. A good balanced shoe, versatile in its use.
