Gottmann Leather Driving Cap (For Men)

Good quality cap. Quite warm ^ not breathable so is beat used during the winter months.

Right shape and looks good on someone with a smaller size head as myself. Good quality leather.

This was a Christmas gift for a guy whose cherished old hat (40 years and counting!) was literally falling apart. He's a really big guy, 6'2", with a really big head...so I knew I needed an extra large cap that was true to size. There was nothing available locally, so I did quite a bit of online research. For quality and a roomy fit, the Sierra Trading Post cap was the hands down winner. And the reviewers knew what they were talking about. This cap looks lovely, feels soft and substantial, fit him perfectly and, most importantly, has a nice deep back. No blow away here. Looks Terrific. And when he opened the box he recognized the STP name immediately. Perfect. The only refinement I would make would be to offer the cap in a light brown as well (that was the color of the original). I was very satisfied and will be using STP again. My family...Dad and 2 brothers...are also big guys with big heads. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Difficult to pick size when buying online.

I wear it with my lambskin leather bomber jacket. They complement each other to the max.

I bought this cap as a Christmas gift for a son in law, and therefore I will not be able to evaluate it until he unwraps it and tries it on.

Really like the style of this driving cap. It's perfect for my casual, grab-and-go style.

I bought the black version of the hat. The construction, fit and finish are great. The leather is high quality -- very soft and lightweight. I wear this hat with "business" attire, but suspect that it works equally well with casual clothes.

the first cap was way too small so I ordered the next size up. My husband seems happy with the cap, but I found it was a bit floppy on the sides. He seems to like the type of cap that is smooth sided and has no rollover. However, he's happy and has worn it every day that it's been cool. It looks a little dressier with a black wool sports coat than his other wool caps.
