compared to the original, these are terrible! Cheezy elastic at the cuffs, ribbon material for the belt instead of the original webbing, and half the weight of even their shorts. If I didn't know better, I would swear these were knock offs bound for the local big box. Sad, because Gramicci used to make quality products[...]. Maybe that"s why the have so many products here on overstock.

Golfing in the Sacramento Area is a year around sport. However, during the winter months, temperatures can be in the 40s and 50s. So, I wear long underware under the Gramicci climbing pants, and I'm pefectly warm and comfortable. The pants are lightweight, roomy, and non-binding, which is a plus for golfers.

These are as good as any other Gramicci pants that I’ve had. The stretch cuffs are great for keeping the pants legs from moving up around and are great for keeping crud out of my boots. The built-in belt doesn’t hold well at all. I found that I can get it to stay if I loop the end back over the slide in the opposite direction, but I would prefer plain old belt loops and using my own belt. All things considered they’re a good purchase.

my husband and i spend a lot of time climbing, and these are his favorite pants to climb in, the last pair wore out in the butt (from approaching clmbs and having to use the scooting method), he had it patched, which made him look like a baboon, so i bought him two new pair for a birthday/christmas gift, but they are comfy/stretchy enough for the climbing meneuvers we have to make... my only regret is not buying myself a couple of pair when i bought his!!

work well with suspenders; threw the belt away other gramicci pants (e.g. guide pants) are better as they have belt loops for a regular belt.
