    Pros:
High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable
    Cons:
Poor Fit, Proportions out of scale
    Describe Yourself:
    Casual/ Recreational
    Length:
    Feels too long
    Waist:
    Feels too big
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I usually love Gramacci products but not these. Forwarned that the pants ran large, I ordered an 8 instead of a 10. Pant was way too big and literally slid off my hips. Trying again, I got the 6. This purched on hip bones with the fabric through the crotch very tight, the legs wide and long. The Capri's hit below my calf's and the zipper for the convertible part ran across my knee. I am 5'4'' tall and weigh 125 -- a pretty standard size 10 and these pants were completely out of proportion.

Product did not meet Gramacci's usual standards because the sizing was so far off. Forwarned that these ran large, I first tried a size 8, then a 6. The 6 stayed up, at least, but the waist was so low, it rode below my hip bones, Gramacci is know for room in the crotch for easy movement, but not with these pants! The fabric through the crotch was very tight and uncomfortable. At the same time the legs went longer than capri length and the zippers, for conversion to shorts, went uncomfortably across my knees. Not good!

This pant simply was not what I expected. I just returned it. Gramicci is a favorite product of mine...i just didnot study it well enough. I will try again. Regarding whether I would recommen these pants...I would describe them and let them make up their mind.

These are for hiking...a bit too loose and a bit too long...almost full length and they are supposed to be capris.

I ordered these pants one size smaller as indicated by the reviews and they fit me very well. The zipper on the zip off legs does land on the knees so it is uncomfortable to wear them with the legs zipped on. I wear them as shorts... but the material is fairly thin so I don't feel they are good hiking pants. They are fun casual shorts - definitely not worth full price so if you get them severely discounted then I would recommend them.
