Reviewed by RoyP from Palo Alto, California on Wednesday, November 27, 2013I love this jacket. I ordered Large and Medium. I'm a 42 regular jacket and I usually take a large for shirts and jackets. The medium was too tight in the chest. The large was ok if a little generous in the chest, but the sleeves were way, way too long. But the styling of this garment was so appealing, I felt it was worth having the sleeves shortened. Find a decent tailor and have the plackends (sp?) moved with the cuffs. In the end, this is a great, great garment, with tons of style, very soft, plush wool. I love it.
Reviewed by Northern NE Mister from VT on Monday, December 17, 2012Really wonderful shirt jack: trim-ish fit, good length for my long arms, and surprisingly warm for the weather up here in northern New England. It's my new non-sport jacket when the temp is above 25f.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ironwoodsman from Northeast on Wednesday, February 8, 2012Probably one of my favorite outerwear garments is a shirt jac. Especially in wool. Wool is warm, light weight and durable. This one is sized small. So order up one size if you like to layer up for colder weather. I like to wear over a sweater, hooded sweatshirt, or fleece pullover. This is the fine quality that Gramicci is known for.
- Best Uses: CASUAL WEAR, Cold weather
- Cons: Inner pocket cheesy, Sized small
- Pros: Attractive design, Well Made, Wool is buttery soft
Reviewed by Staying warm and looking good from Sunny Southwest on Monday, January 30, 2012This shirt jacket is more of a mid-weight jacket. Wool is fairly heavy and caped front and back like a hunting jacket even though it is not mentioned in the description.
Fit will allow for a vest or heavy shirt underneath for layering in the small size. Great construction.
Looks nice enough to wear when going out on the town or to church. At this price I bought two of them and am glad that I did.
- Best Uses: Will fit any occasion
- Cons: none
- Pros: Warm and stylish
