“The zip off is at a great height- often these pants zip off to shorter shorts than I would like- this zips rights below the knee, still offering some protection from thorns, rocks, and whatever else you might encounter. Also, the fabric is very nice, with a soft, cottony feel, completly unlike many of the cheaper versions of "quickdry" pants. It feels nice, doesn't chafe, doesn't make that terrible "chuff chuff" sound as you walk, and looks good enough to wear in the city as well as the field. The first pair I ordered had a whole in the bottom that was a lot more than just "seconds" but i called sierra trading post, and i have a new pair on the way.”
