These definitely fit the bill. I am 6'2 ~160 (normally wear 30' trousers) and I prefer something slim, so the Small worked for me. The length is definitely above the knee but not 70s jogger. Size up for more room.
Back zipper pocket is a nice touch, seems secure. I did notice what looked like awkward/off internal stitches in one of them, but not a material defect. At the price I got them (flash sale) they were great value. -
