Terrible fit: too short inseam (not as described), too wide in the hips, very low rise. All the things I hate in a shorts. These fit so badly that an over sized tee shirt wouldn't cover its shortcomings (pun intended). I can't imagine that any size would be satisfactory. I have other Gramicci shorts that fit beautifully which is why I ordered them. Mistake.

These shorts were comfortable except that I found the leg openings a little small. I am 5'5", normal weight, normally wear 8/10, and my thighs, though definitely not skinny, aren't exactly huge either, but sitting down in these shorts I found the narrow leg openings just a bit uncomfortable. I also didn't like the fully elasticized waist band plus drawstring. A little elastic at each side should be enough (and less obvious) and the drawstring is just redundant with all that elastic as well as annoying. An inside adjustment would be better I think. And trying to put my cell phone and (three) keys in the pockets made the shorts less comfortable and made the pockets seem too bulged out. I was going to keep the shorts anyway, but then the snap stopped snapping. Never had that happen before. So I'll wait and see if the company makes improvements to the design because these shorts do have potential.

I bought a pair of medium cotton twill gramicci shorts at the same time. They fit great. These are way too small so I am returning them. They are also way shorter. I do like the gusseted crotch area but it is extremely short. If they fit properly I would love to keep them. Good quality.
