Great for hot weather. The length is good for shorter people. Like to zip back pockets - can carry cash without worrying about losing it.

I expected something cut more like gym shorts. When I put them on, I was very disappointed because they're cut so much closer to the body than Original Gs. The wonderfully deep side pockets are shallower, too. After I wore them for a walk, I felt a little better about them; they are comfortable. They look durable and have washed well. The pockets are O.K. Ultimately I still prefer the Original Gs, though. I recommend them if you're willing to sacrifice some of the functionality of the originals for a more flattering cut.
