Perfect summer polo. Texture/material is great. Sizing is normal I suppose.... I'm 6' 175lbs, wear a 40L, and usually stuck in no-mans-land between Mediums and Larges. The Medium is perfect for me here -- not baggy but not skin tight either and still plenty long. Just received it last week and back online to order another color already.

First off, I am an authority on sweating, heat, humidity, and which fibers work best in 1 of the hottest places on earth, south Louisiana.
In order to understand first we need to distinguish the "types/varieties" of heat. The SW section of the US is "dry" heat. A mixture of desert wind and blasting sun is hot as hell. I even did cook an egg on the roadway the earth was that hot.
However, Dry heat is nothing compared to "humid" heat.
I've been to Arizona(desert country), hot as hell, but cool to cold at night. Mexico was just the same. And "this" heat is a dry heat, low humidity, therefore a very tolerable heat. They can "easily" wear 100% cotton jeans.
I live in the capital city of La, sure not 110 degrees, but a solid 96 degrees with 92% humidity(aka: so uncomfortably hot, it isn't fun to go outside). The air is so "thick" one feels as if he/she could "cut" it with a knife. 100% cotton jeans would be possible, but..... very uncomfortable.
This Gramicci polo breathes GREAT!! It is Southern Certified for a must in hot conditions. Hemp is more durable than cotton and is anti bacterial(aka: no smell) when you sweat. I LOVE all of the Gramicci NPT line. I own "name" brand 100 % cotton polos costing $95, but are no where as well constructed nor breathes as well as this Gramicci hemp polo. The coconut buttons are eco friendly and cool. Whilst the long placket is great for extending the height of any man. It makes me look real tall. I only use to like wearing short placket 2-3 button polos, but now that I have the 4 button long placket Gramicci Hawksville polo, I don't want to wear the short placket shirts.
Southern Certified wearable fabrics are:
Linen, Hemp, Merino Wool, yes wool. Cotton can't absorb nor expel the sweat quick enough which leads to a term we call "swamp butt" here in the south.
My Merino wool 96% boxers are the go to in the humid south. I never feel uncomfortable and I don't sweat, I rain, but the wool absorbs and expels it so I never get that uncomfortable feeling as with cotton products.
I LOVE these Polo shirts!!

Not at all what is pictured. The white shirt pictured is bright white. The shirt I was sent is a off white color with a mint green tinge to it. It looks like a white t-shirt that has not been washed in a very long time. Other that that it's a nice shirt.
