I found that the waist gapped a little too, but not enough to justify ordering down a size, and the belt helps. I thought that the fit was flattering and not tight in the crotch, even though these aren't gossetted, as their climbing pants are.

Reviewed by Yogagal from Scottsdale,AZ on Wednesday, March 07, 2012The strange thing about these pants is that the waist is as big as the hips so, at least on me,the waist is way too big, BUT the belt is totally adjustable and wide so I can cinch them up and they fit great everywhere else. I don't usually wear tucked in tops but with these I actually can and look good! They are very comfortable and the fabric is nice - durable but soft.
