    Originally, purchased for a 10-day float trip on the Colorado River, but I find these shorts are in the laundry every week. They've replaced his stand-by Patagonia pairs as his favorite shorts. My athletic husband lives in them for hiking, yard projects, splitting wood, but also wears them to parties and out for casual dinner. Note that they are pull-on and suited for a slim-hipped person. Didn't fit my average-sized son, who also wears a M.

    As usual, Sierra offers a great deal. The shorts fit quite well and are very comfortable. The color is not as expected. Crotch sewing is a little long so it pulls when legs are extended - sounds funny I know. These are very lightweight...wonder about durability. They are perfect for hiking and active wear as well as comfortable and stylish for regular use. I like longer length. All around good shorts.

    Good shorts for the price. The only real complaint is that the front hip pockets are cut small and a bit of a pain to get in and out of. The back pockets and stash pocket on the leg are fine tho.

    Returned these. Fit was strange--small in waist but also "off." In particular, the fly area twisted and seemed poorly sewn. Usually get better quality with this brand, but not for this particular short....
