    I'm 58 years old, and in my entire life, I have never bought a pair of pants that had NO ZIPPER! It's not revealed in the listing, and since this is WAY outside of the norm, it should be. At any rate, I returned them as they had no use for me. Other than that glaring omission, they're OK pants.

    I normally get 34-35 waist; I ordered the Large which are advertised to fit 34-36. Way too big for me both in waist and around hips and thighs; almost billowy. So I exchanged them for Medium (31-33) and they fit perfectly. The 32 length was true to size. Very happy with them.

    I have an identically sized pair which are much roomier in the waist than these ordered April 2012. I have not grown significantly if at all since the first pair; these L/32" have little room in the waist to take them off and little room for belt adjustment. In addition, I tried a different pair of Gramiccis just before these in a size M as my 1st L pair has more room in the waist than I need, and they were much too tight. Either Gramicci has drastically changed their sizing or these lots are much different than those in the past. ?? That said, all the features that make me a fan of these pants are there: comfortable, casual, rugged.

    All together these pants are really nice. I purchased them for my trip to Patagonia, Argentina and so far they have worked well. I did do a few top-rope climbs with them and scrubbed them against some sharp rock and some of the fabric looked like it may try to tear, but other than that, the pants are really nice. They were really nice to travel in.
