    Bought my usual size and it was too small in hips. Sent it back for next larger size, fits in hip, too large in waist. Ordered short length but still way too long. Kept this for working in garden, but really not happy with it.

    I bought these to replace two pairs of grammicci that had been patched & repaired too many times. I used them for trips along the JMT and overtime (10 years) the got ripped (rocks) and the seams wore out. I loved them & didn't want to replace them, so I patched them. However, last summer, I finally had no choice when I had to use duct tape to fix the seams on one of the old pairs. The new ones fit EXACTLY like the previous ones. I will order some more. these are the perfect backpacking pants, comfy, they don't bind when you climb up steep trails. I love these pants!

    Great pants for outdoor wear. Keeps me cooler when it is warm, warmer when it is cool, washes and dries easily, fabric is tough. Wonderful for walking dogs, hiking, rafting, camping, etc. Somewhat wrinkly looking for those looking for a more fashionable fabric. But can't be beat for functionality.

    I have a pair of the nylon Gramicci pants from years ago. These looked the same but the lower legs are now much wider than the original. I was not happy with the look of the wider legs and will be returning the pants.

    Nice pants - very lightweight, the purple color is really fun and pretty. Great with a tank and flip flops. Just wanted to give an idea of length; I usually need a minimum lenth of 33, but these were best for me in the 31. I tried both; as I like to wear this style of pant hanging low on the hips, the 33s were just too long. So the 33 is, I think, a true long. By the way, I am 5'7 130# and the small is good.
