However elastic still is good so I still wear those. So happy to have found these shorts so I bought two more pair. These shorts are literally my first grab when its down time!! On the sailboat, running errands, chilling at home, awesome!!

Best quality and by this I mean the hems, pockets, waist is sown throughly together, pockets are double layer. The belt is quality and stays closed. I bought four pair and my get another couple of pair before stock is gone. Sierra has the best prices, best customer service I used online.

These are just what I was looking for. I use them for working out (outdoor circuit training -- basketball-type shorts work fine for running on hamster wheels at gym chains) and hiking. I wanted something with elastic or an integrated belt, that wasn't too long or baggy, which is difficult at 5' 7" and 135lbs. I highly recommend.
