Gramicci Original G Shorts - Cotton Twill (For Women)

A little large in the waist otherwise the fit is just right. Thank goodness there is a built in belt.

Originally ordered a medium but returned for a small. Medium was too baggy and the small was difficult to pull over hips. I am very slender so I never expected them to be tight since I was swimming in the mediums.

I haven't washed these yet so I don't know about the shrinkage or color retention. Because of the high quality, I am not expecting any problems. I love these shorts.

My wife had a old pair that were worn to tatters. Her favorites for working at the barn or in the yard. Must have been 15 years old. I am so glad you had these original classic shorts for replacement. Got two pair. She wears them almost every day. She was pleased to find these new shorts have back pockets too.

These shorts are great! I have them in every color. I wear them every day around home, shopping, out to eat in restaurants, etc. They can be dressed up with a pretty sweater or blouse or can be very casual.

I wear these around the yard and farm.

Waist and length ok. Are a little tight around the bottom for being my usual (dress) size. Can be worn but not as comfortable as I'd hoped.

These shorts seem larger than other Gramicci pants and shorts I have purchased. They were especially wide in the legs. I could adjust the waist so they would stay on, but since the fabric is fairly rigid, they looked pretty unflattering on me (made me look wide in the hips and thighs). Besides the size and fit, the materials seemed like they would wear well and hold up, like most Gramicci products.

I've had them on a few times and so far, I'm very pleased. I was looking for a replacement for my Royal Robbins canvas goat shorts (Royal Robbins no longer makes them in canvas for women) and these fit the bill. I find that nylon or other synthetics are not always that comfortable for a long hike and don't protect as well when sitting on rocks or logs as canvas. I would give them 5 stars if they had a zipper fly rather than pull up like gym shorts. The belt is handy to tighten them, but a bit of a nuisance to loosen in the "field."
