    I liked these shorts enough to go back and try to purchase a second pair. These shorts definitely fit baggy. I ordered the XS and found them to be plenty big for my 5'2", 112 lb frame. But I like shorts to fit loose, and they are perfect for hiking and backpacking. They are also very lightweight and soft.

    I have worn this brand of shorts for years. I have always worn a small. It seems that this small runs REALLY big, probably could have used an extra small. Maybe they have changed the sizing?!

    I purchased these because the fabric description included "soft". When I opened the package and touched the fabric, I was disappointed that it was stiff and not soft at all. The color was also different from what was shown on the website. The size was commented on by others as 'ture to size, but I found it to be larger than expected. I am returning them.

    Very comfortable shorts for hot, humid summer conditions. Great for yard work, house work, travel and hiking. Because of the gusseted crotch there is plenty of room for movement and absolutely no binding around the leg. One down side is that there is almost too much material around the front of the shorts which makes it appear bulky. Don't wear long, over-hanging t-shirts with these shorts; fitted tees look best.

    The one thing that really surprised was how easily the fabric tears once its been snagged.I'd be careful off trail; better suited for trail walking or hiking. Too much scooting around on rocks on your butt might abrade the fabric as well.
