Gramicci Quick Dry Galene Stride Pants - Roll Up (For Women)

Too bad the legs are not tapered at all. These pants looked kind of clownish as there was so much fabric around the lower part of the leg (though not flared) so I ended up giving them to a friend. I like a trimmer fit, though the fabric was perfect for hot weather hiking which is why I bought them.

This is my third pair of these pants. I love these pants for travel. They're easy to wash and quick to dry. They can be worn as pants or capris. I especially like that they don't have cargo pockets on the legs, which makes them look a little less casual than most travel/hiking pants. This pair is a little smaller than the last pairs I bought (but not enough that they didn't fit or I needed to go up a size). I usually find that travel/hiking pants are too short on me. The first two pairs of these pants I purchased were actually too long -- I had to have them hemmed. This pair was a little shorter, I would say probably around 32-33 long, this pair was just right for me. They definitely wouldn't be too short for most people. I bought the dark blue, and it's more of a blue-grey-denimy color instead of a navy.

I am taking them on a trip in another week. They are comfortable and I like the easy care features, and the elastic waist to wear my security belt comfortably beneath.

I will need to have the garment taylored, as the pants are much too generous in the hips and legs. Upon initial washing with cold water (washing machine) and drying on the line, I noticed a gathering at the stitching which I could not pull out. Once taylored, these will be my favorite summertime and "adventure" pants. They dry in a flash and are really comfortable. Zippered flap pockets give extra security.

I am 5ft 3 inches tall. Leg length 6 inches too long. Because my legs are small, the pants look like sails on me. These pants are worth a trial at altering before I give up on them.
