Gramicci River Day Skirt - UPF 30 (For Women)

Skirt hangs right below my knees but I am 5 3'. It's comfortable and the fabric does dry quickly. I'm curvy and it does not hug my hips. I like the fit Except the waist. The waist is huge! But I pull it in with the draw string.

I am traveling to India and needed a good all purpose skirt. Tought this would fit the bill as I trusted the name. But somehow they got it wrong. The skirt is bulky and has a tie waist which did not seem strong enough to last. Also, I couldn't get the waist to tie in a flattering way. Always seemed to be bunching in the wrong place. I really liked the skirt however, as the fabric was perfect for travel. Hated to return it. Might be perfect for a very slim person.

I worried about the "boxy" reviews I'd read, but bought it anyway... and I'm glad I did! Wore this on a recent trip to Thailand - couldnt have been more perfect! Versatile, from town to beach, sink washable, and stylish. The drawstring waist seems odd, but once you have it on it looks great.

I really enjoy the color and pattern of this fabric. You can match the skirt with several different colors of tops. The skirt is comfortable, except that the waist is very large. I exchanged sizes from a small to an x-small and the waist is still quite large. However, when the waist is cinched in with the drawstring, the skirt still hangs nicely. It is a roomy design, but still looks attractive. I was looking for a longer skirt, so I ended up adding a few inches of material to the bottom of the skirt. Overall, I am pleased with the skirt aside from how wide it is.

Skirt is cut in basically a square> A draw string is pulled to make a waist. I can't get the fabric evenly disributed, so it looks bunched up at the waste. Cheap design.

I wore this skirt to wash the car last week and a neighbor, who recently worked in the NYC fashion industry, remarked how dressed up I looked. When I finished with the car, the skirt looked just as fresh as when I put it on. While I was surprised at the size of the waist, it did cinch in with the use of the waist cord and did not look bulky. The skirt is very cool, looks nice and can be worn to the supermarket, as a bathing suit cover-up--or to wash the car.

the xl has to be equivalent to an 18 or 20.

The skirt has no shape. It's just a big loose sack that you cinch at the waist. Size small was much larger than my size 4/6 frame.

A good versatile design for travel and casual wear. Should work with sandals or boots.

Work/Casual wear. Love the Color and Fabric for summer. Sizing runs big. Not for the small framed person. Allot of extra material if you are small waisted.
