really happy with the medium waist and 34 longs. i am 6'2 180lb. Very comfortable and definitely a step closer to dress pants than the no fly gramicci They are looser fitting so i dont think i am going to be busting a seam. Compared to carhartts they are much less restrictive and lighter weight. Aft... Read More

These are not quite as refined as a set of 'casual friday' downtown khaki's, but are great for weekends and afternoons. If you're willing to put an iron to them, even a casual afterwork gathering.

The gusset is very accomodating, meaning I can squat, kneel, climb, jump, tumble or tussle without the least bit of fabric bunching or binding. No hitching up the legs at the thigh. The fabric is tough but dang comfy, a soft cotton feel - like the above mentioned casual-friday khakis. No breakin required, like say Dickies or Carhartt, but similar durability. I bought a pair on a fluke and returned a month later for 2 more. Favorite pants at the moment.

We may need a new word for pants this fine. All of the usual trouser stuff -- fit, drape, comfort, et cetera -- is exemplary, and they pop out of the dryer ready to go. As I wore these for the first time, I remembered my last pair of Gramicci pants, which I bought 30 years ago and wore until the rise of microbreweries (and my experiments with Grandpa Carmine's pasta recipes)made my waistline unfit for them.
I live and work (as a Comp. and Lit. Instructor) in the 'Gunks, and I'm actually looking forward to wearing these the first time my students drive me up the wall. Meanwhile, though I'm a bit old and arthritic for real rock climbing, my Gramiccis will be on board for my next scramble up Bonitcou Crag.
Okay, so I'm craxy about my new garment; maybe I should call them pantaloons.

Overall, these pants are pretty good and I like them just fine. They are definitely nothing like what I was expecting though..

In the main photo, I guess to me at least, the pants seem to fit relatively slim, which I was hoping for. They don't fit slim at all, but very baggy. Sure they're not meant as fashion pants, but I was hoping they wouldn't look like I'm stuck living in the early 2000s/1990's.

I wear a 29 or 30 inseam on every pair of pants I owned before this, but these are actually quite long on me. Too long for me to wear them normally. I have to roll them up some so they don't drag under my shoes. (I purchased a 30 inseam but still too long) - so be mindful of that before you buy them. They seem to run longer than you may expect.

As for the waist, no issues or complaints there. It's actually perfect and I love the waistband material. Very comfortable.

I really like the feel of the cotton against my legs, and overall they're a fine pair of pants. I just was expecting something else really as far as looks go. I'd recommend these if you like baggy-fitting comfortable pants.

These are typical Gramicci pants, comfortable, stylish and easy to take care of. (You still have to iron them). They are a lighter and softer fabric than some others I have, but I wanted a light fabric and color for Summer wear.

Same fit as the last pair I owned and wore out.
