    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I bought this for my fiance. I was worried that the plaid lining might be too cheesy but it is a fairly subtle plaid and he isn't at all bothered by it. I know it was a success when he immediately ripped off the labels, put it on and then wore it for the rest of the evening. We were in Moab and it was cold outside but he stayed warm.

    This is a nice jacket and seems well made, but the medium seemed larger than most mediums, and being reversible there is some excess fabric that causes it to bulge on the bottom, but when I look in the mirror it is less drastic than it appears when you look down on it, so it may not be a huge deal.
