“I don't get the objections to the wide legs. They fit like wide-legged trousers. Still fitted in the waist and hip enough to be flattering. I am short-waisted, so they hit about 1.5 inches below the belly button on me, perfect length (I'm 5'3",) medium-weight twill fabric, quality construction. The tan and olive colors go with nearly everything. These days it's hard to find quality that lasts more than one season, so I've learned to put darts in if necessary, or if you want a slimmer leg on the pant, run a new seam down the leg with a sewing machine. Or get a tailor to do it for ten bucks. At Sierra prices, you still come out ahead.”
