Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This will be a knock-around, very casual skirt to run errands, walk the dog; a light weight knit skirt to wear rather than cotton sweats. I believe it will be comfortable but will have my seamstress take in the sides of the waist if washing doesn't shrink it a bit. I'm a 14-16 and the XL was rather too generous for me. Should have ordered the L.
