3.0 out of 5 stars. Kinda sorta OKReviewed by Andrew M from Washington on Wednesday, October 25, 2017Would be great for people with big domes. If you have a "normal" size head it will be too big. Little annoying stitching was cream colored on outside even though pic on STP shows black stitching, but for the price not worth sending back.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good basic hatReviewed by Michelle from Sacramento, CA on Wednesday, April 26, 2017I found this beanie to be a good basic hat to keep in the backpack or to take snowshoeing. It is not a super heavyweight hat but seems to keep me warm. I also used it as a layer underneath another knit hat for extra warmth on an Alaska trip. It is quite large on me though so I wish it fit snugger.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Soft and PrettyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Pawpaw from Massachusetts on Saturday, January 14, 2017I love the gray choice. This is a warm, comfortable, and lightweight hat that does not take up a lot of room in my bag when I do not need it.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Very LargeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hathead from Maryland on Thursday, December 29, 2016This hat runs very large, and I returned it. Other than that, it's your basic fleece hat, nothing more or less.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not that warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lisa the walker from CT on Tuesday, December 20, 2016I thought this would be very warm according to the description, it is very loose fitting and not that warm, I feel like I have to wear another hat over it to be warm. Very disappointed.

2.0 out of 5 stars. FAILVerified Buyer Reviewed by kaytea from Central NJ on Thursday, December 15, 2016My beanie did not have the same shape as the beanie in the photo. The band around the ear area was very loose, measuring 24 inches in circumference at the bottom edge! I wore it today--22 degrees and windy---and it was NOT warm at all, because the bottom edge is not tight. The top of the beanie is a single layer of fleece and the ear band section is double layer but the layers are thin. The beanie I received was black with contrasting gray stitching/serging. It had a "bell" shape where the bottom edge of the earband was 2 inches larger than the top edge of the ear band....The stitching at the bottom edge of the ear band serves no purpose except to stretch out the fleece and make it wavy.....I picked all that bottom stitching out with a seam ripper to see if I can get the waviness out. If I can tighten up the bottom edge, this will be a usable beanie.....otherwise, a big fail.

3.0 out of 5 stars. HmmmReviewed by kaytea from Central NJ on Wednesday, December 14, 2016At first I wondered if I was sent the wrong beanie.....Mine is super lightweight black beanie with contrasting gray thread around the upper and lower edges of the earband . The top portion of the beanie is single layer fleece and the earband is two layers. The fit is very loose making me wonder if wind will be a problem, but it is comfortable to wear. I am bit disappointed. I feel like it should fit tighter around the ears.
