    I bought these gloves to use on a skiing trip to Wyoming (talk about trial by fire) and they were great. Kept my hands warm and dry all day. Only downside is the first pair I bought felt small even though I used the size chart. I exchanged them for one size up and they were perfect.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    At zero or close to it this morning, while shoveling snow, my finger tips were pretty cold. I had to pull them inside the glove and use it as a mitten for a while until they warmed up enough to use them as gloves again. They seemed pretty warm above 15 degrees when shoveling last week. My fingers certainly stayed dry in all cases. Okay for the sale price, not for the 'original.'
