I had a pair of these exact mittens that I loved in the cold weather, especially for downhill skiing. Having had frostbite many years ago, my hands are still extremely sensitive and they ache when very cold for long periods. Unfortunately I made a bad decision to sell mine because I had only been skiing in the Spring and had not used them for many years. These are by far the most protective and warm mittens I have ever used, and here I was planning to ski in January and February so I decided to look for another pair. Needless to say that I was delighted to find them still being sold. I have not used this pair yet but I am sure that I will be happy to have them again this season. Like most mittens, manual dexterity suffers but if you have extreme cold sensitivity, it is worth the sacrifice.
