Grandoe Double Down Gloves - Waterproof (For Men)

Very nice gloves. Warmest I've found that is not a mitten.

I'm a woman and I bought these gloves for use while cleaning off my car, driving and getting around in the cold winter weather. I was looking mainly for utility and warmth. After wearing them a couple of weeks, I find the leather on the palms has loosened up some, but I still have difficulty gripping the snow brush and the steering wheel. I'm unable to bend my fingers partly because of the stiff leather, but also because the fingers are so wide and bulky with down. The gloves are supposed to have extra down at the tips of the fingers for added warmth, but I haven't found that to be the case. In fact, my hands are still cold while I'm driving, so I usually have to take them off to warm up! I'm glad they're waterproof when I'm removing snow from my car, but I don't think they're worth what I paid for them, even at closeout prices. I'll be looking for new gloves again next year.

Really pleased with these gloves; my old ones were only good for twenty minutes in frigid conditions and then I'd be worried about frostbite. I hadn't wanted to spend the money for a more top o' the line pair because I was concerned they'd be a poor fit, or too bulky, or still not warm enough. These fit great, are as manageable while working outside as the old ones and warm as hand heaters! There may be better gloves out there but until I go to the actual Arctic, these will do me nicely.

Can't tighten velcro wrist strap enough to be useful, not enough velcro surface area. Still a good deal at the price I paid though.

A little bulky for biking, but really really warm.

Used these while shoveling snow and walking the dog in single digit temperatures with below zero windchills. The fingers will chill if you don't move your hands around, but otherwise, VERY warm.

The gloves keep me warm snowshoeing in twenty something degree weather. Bulky and hard to get on/off when sweaty. I would not recommend them to for serious outdoor enthusiasts.
