“Unwieldy gloves”

“I'm a woman and I bought these gloves for use while cleaning off my car, driving and getting around in the cold winter weather. I was looking mainly for utility and warmth. After wearing them a couple of weeks, I find the leather on the palms has loosened up some, but I still have difficulty gripping the snow brush and the steering wheel. I'm unable to bend my fingers partly because of the stiff leather, but also because the fingers are so wide and bulky with down. The gloves are supposed to have extra down at the tips of the fingers for added warmth, but I haven't found that to be the case. In fact, my hands are still cold while I'm driving, so I usually have to take them off to warm up! I'm glad they're waterproof when I'm removing snow from my car, but I don't think they're worth what I paid for them, even at closeout prices. I'll be looking for new gloves again next year.”
