Reviewed by Sundog from Florida on Monday, August 12, 2013These are replacing similar Grandoe gloves that did me service for 5 years. Those gloves never busted a seam or a single stitch. I like how this new glove has a reinforced web between the thumb and fore finger. The gauntlet style gives a nice overlap to my jacket cuff to more adequetly seal out the snow, especially when you find yourself in the deep stuff or having to reinstall your gear after a blow out. My old Grandoe liners slid right in for those super cold mornings that might require that extra layer of insulation.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ron from Stevens Pass, WA on Monday, February 18, 2013They seem a little light. Probably not the best for extremely cold days.

Long cords attached to gauntlet are cumbersome
My hands didn't get wet making snowballs, but the outside leather did
My finger tips got cold in temps less than 25 degrees
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mister Toe Blister from Tucson, AZ on Wednesday, January 30, 2013These gloves are extra warm for working or playing in cold conditions. I haven't worn them while it's snowing or raining so I can't say if they're waterproof. They fit well with the finger length just right. With the selection of sizes, anybody can find a pair that will fit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by elevation8700 from Winter Park, CO on Friday, January 18, 2013These are really nice gloves that have been getting a lot of work since they arrived. I use them for skiing and snowboarding. They are medium/heavy. I don't use them on the coldest days (0 to -30F in Winter Park, CO). The long cuff is nice - especially for snowboarding where your hands are often in the snow. However, it takes work/time to get them over the jacket sleeves. They are good for situations where you put'em on and leave'em on. I wouldn't use them if I needed to take them off and on frequently for dexterity. They came with two pairs of strings/straps that serve no purpose for me and could be a problem in the trees. They were easily removed.
