Always loved Grandoe gloves. Not bulky, but does a good job of keeping heat in. Appears to be good quality. The only downside is it's hard to get my hands into the liner and then the glove shell. Probably more a function of having thick fingers than of the glove.

These gloves were looking great until i skied a few hours in a very sloppy rain, sleet, snow mix. My right hand was soaked through. I know these have the dri-guard insert, but I am not sure how my hand got so utterly soaked. My left hand was wet, but not as bad as the right. For normal skiing down to the 20's these seemed to be adequate. I don't abuse my gear too much so I am not sure how these would hold up to snowboarding and grabbing edges. I rate these as an average ski glove that can't stop sloppy rain, snow days. I would recommend based on the fact that they perform adequately for most winter days and were priced right with a huge Sierra Trading Post discount.
