These gloves have been tested in zero degree (colder wind chill) weather along Chicago's lakefront, and they kept my hands as warm as any pair of gloves I have ever had.

Warm, comfortable, a little bulky, but the warmth is well worth it. I have tried several pairs of gloves this winter, but these are the keepers. I use them for shoveling a loooong driveway and for maintaining our sledding/slalom course for our kids. After two hours outside, my fingers are still toasty.

These gloves are not much warmer than the cheap foam insulated pair I got from the local gas station. I have big hands and short fingers and the large fit was ok but hard to put on. A liner would certainly help, but there is not enough room.

Keeps hands warm in sub zero weather. An added feature I like is the velcro closure around the wrist to help keep wind and snow from getting inside the glove. Feels true to size.

being in mn....i was hoping these could be my outdoor gloves for anything from shoveling to skiing. i was disappointed at how chilly my fingers felt in them....kinda like in most gloves. oddly when i was at my parents though they lent me just a tight fitting pair of winter gloves to put underneath these when i went skiing and they worked great than. perhaps i just got them a size too large, i consider. there is a really nice feature of some soft fabric on the inside that i think is ideal for wiping my nose after a couple hours in the cold.
