Not as warm as I expected. The material on the back of the thumbs was not Gore Tex like the rest of the shell, and looks like it would soak up moisture.

Got these for skiing, but the liner is way too bulky for gripping anything or using your hands at all. Removing the liner, the mitten is not very warm, even with a less bulky liner. These would be great for standing in the cold for viewing sports events
    • Best Uses: Casual Wear, Standing in the cold
    • Cons: Not warm without liner, Too bulky for gripping
    • Pros: Very warm with liner in
    • Sizing: Feels true to size

I use these mittens for skiing. The mittens appear to be of excellent quality and sturdy contruction. The gauntlet extends well onto my forearm ensuring snow doesn't find its way to my hand. The mittens include a liner that when used in conjunction with the outter shell I'm certain will keep my hands warm in any conditions in which I would ski. My only crituque of the mittens is that the liner is a mitten as well. I would have preferred a glove liner. On the whole, I'm very satisfied with this item.
    • Best Uses: Winter sports
    • Pros: Interior dries quickly, Warm
