Verified Buyer Reviewed by ynyny from NYC on Wednesday, February 18, 2015These are nice looking gloves but not as warm as I had hoped.
Reviewed by Northern Plains from Minnesota on Wednesday, March 5, 2014I wasn't familiar with the Grandoe brand, but was drawn to the gloves by the quality description and the price. I was not disappointed. I've only worn them a couple of time for snow shoveling -- more to come, I'm sure -- since they arrived, but considering the frigid conditions we're experiencing it was an adequate test. Construction is good and they're well insulated. This pair of gloves looks to be a winner.
Reviewed by Irish at Heart from Massachusetts on Thursday, February 20, 2014These gloves are quite good for keeping warm hands warm. However if you have to take them off and your hands get cold they are of little use. Also I wear a large glove but something told me to order these larger, I ordered extra large and they barely fit. The quality of materials is excellent.
Reviewed by NH Sailor from Central NH on Friday, January 24, 2014These gloves have proved to be comfortably warm in 0 degree weather, when combined with the merino wool liners I purchased from STP at the same time. I also appreciate the glove holder that attaches to the glove and goes over the wrist. Very useful in preventing a loss while riding the chair lift.
Reviewed by Jeff the 1/4 mile para from Wisconsin on Monday, January 6, 2014I am a paraplegic living in Wisconsin so winters are quite cold. These gloves are durable, provide good warmth and the water proof aspect is a big plus. Whether I'm pushing through snow and slush while out and about or snow blowing, my hands get cold and wet because the wheelchair's metal hand rims can get caked in slush/snow if the pavement is not cleared. I highly recommend these gloves. They do run a little small so the sizes will be snug. If you are an inbetweener hand size I would order the next size up.
