    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these gloves because they were one of a few listed as waterproof. I live in Southeast Alaska and our snow is wet on good days, rain on bad days. I teach skiing every weekend and was hoping these gloves would keep my hands dry and toasty during lessons. Unfortunately, my hands were wet & cold within one hour of heading out. I would not recommend these gloves for anyone in a wet climate.

    While they seem fine in milder temps, these gloves just didn't keep my hands warm once the temps hit single digits. BUT...they're well made and very comfortable, so I'm trying another style of Grandoe gloves in hopes of finding a little more warmth!

    These gloves look very nice. As I bought them in the spring, I can't attest to their warmth. I thought I'd write to say that the women's small really runs small. This might be fabulous news to those of you with small hands who can't ever find gloves to fit. If your fingers are short, the women's small is for you. The medium seems to fit more normally.
